Everybody has thing that they are passionate about. Is music a passion of yours? Does it stir something in your heart and you constantly crave more? Well, music is definitely a passion of mine.
In particular,I love to sing. Singing is a way of expressing yourself, a great way to enjoy music. Even if you’re not a good singer, it’s important to do it.
Singing enables YOU to say things that just wouldn’t sound right to you just saying it. It’s a way to give off stress too.
YOU can sing just about anywhere. You don’t have to be on stage in front of people to do so, if that’s not your thing. YOU can sing in the car, bathroom, shower, room, endless possibilities.
YOU can sing along with your favorite artists, or YOU can write your own music! Singing is great...for everyone!

a good reminder! music/singing is a broad passion to tackle in a post. i'm personally not sure that people who don't like to sing can EVER be persuaded to sing, but this post is a nice reminder to those who do ;)
ReplyDeleteI do not completely agree with you. I don't mind the idea of singing if you're by yourself anywhere, but it's not appropriate everywhere. In fact, it would be nice if people considered others a little more. For example, when I was at work last week, someone came into the computer lab. After awhile, she started to sing to the music playing on her ipod, while other people were trying to work and continued to do so on and off until she left. So, not every instance can be made into an impromptu singing session.

I really didn't feel persuaded in your blog. I can definitely see however the passion that you have for music, and a did feel a little twinge to join you in your excitement for singing and music. But I can't say because I read your post I'd jump out and bust out in song :)
ReplyDeleteI agree with your posters - I love to hear others sing, but I can't sing - just one of those things I can't do well. However, as Evie-lynn indicates, your passion for this ability comes through loudly and clearly.
