Music is Beautiful

Everybody has thing that they are passionate about.  Is music a passion of yours? Does it stir something in your heart and you constantly crave more? Well, music is definitely a passion of mine.

In particular,I love to sing. Singing is a way of expressing yourself, a great way to enjoy music. Even if you’re not a good singer, it’s important to do it.

Singing enables YOU to say things that just wouldn’t sound right to you just saying it. It’s a way to give off stress too.

YOU can sing just about anywhere. You don’t have to be on stage in front of people to do so, if that’s not your thing. YOU can sing in the car, bathroom, shower, room, endless possibilities.

YOU can sing along with your favorite artists, or YOU can write your own music! Singing is great...for everyone!

Reflection

Before I went to the Baldwin Center, I wasn't sure exactly what it was.  I knew that it helped people who were struggeling but I wasn't sure what all it did.  I learned many things through this experience.

I had originally anticapted that I would be folding clothes of helping with food.  When I got there it was completely different from what I had originally expected.

All the workers there was very nice and seemed like they really enjoyed working there.  It made me want to help out with the community, possibly there.

My job was to help organize a bunch of different types of food into catagories.  It was a big task because there was so much food and the space that it was in was really small.  We had to work together as a team to get the job done efficiently.

My overall experience there was great and I learned a lot.  I'm glad we had to do this and I'm sure I will be helping out more with my community.

Real or Fake...You decide

This vacation was unlike any other!  I remember it like it was yesterday.

I was on a cruise for my first time.  I don't normally like being on the ocean but a cruise....well that's different.

It's like a city on water.  There's people everywhere and I mean everywhere.  You can shop, eat, tan, dance, play games, you name it.  Doesn't sound like being on water now...does it?

The cruise was a week long, but it the days seemed like hours to me.  Too short.

There were so many different fun things I did there, such as swimming in a pool with my family.  I know.... swimming in a pool on the a boat!  Such blast.  That vacation was full of Great memories that will last forever!

Real or Fake....YOU decide

It was one of the most exilerating moments of my life! Never had I done something that gave me such a thrill....I felt like I was flying!!  Normally I don't have the courage to do such a thing, because these types of things.....flat out scare me.

Waiting in line, I believe, made me more nervous.  Thinking about whether I should go through with it not.  The constant..."What if" questions running through my brain.

My friends being there definitely helped.  I don't think I would have gone on "It" if they weren't there.  I actually chickened out earlier and once it was my turn I had turned it down.

Once I got to the top, my friends trying to convince me to go on....I knew there was no turing back.  This was it....the "One."

Riding "this" Rollercoster was one of the greatest thrills in my life.  I don't normally go on big rollercoasters because they scare me. It was a Great Memory. This rollercoaster made me feel like I could fly.   The Raptor

Good Writing

After Reading Stephen King's memoir, I learned many of his insights about good writing vs. bad writing.

I think his idea of the first thing you have to master is the fundemantals such as grammar, vocab., and the styles of writing is very true.

If King didn't have the correct word useage and grammar then I wouldn't want to read his work because it would be sloppy and unorganized.

Many times Writer's know what they're saying but.....if they're using bad grammer and the wrong word usage than what the writer is trying to get across won't be as effective to the audience.

Readers don't like seeing the same words being repeated in what YOU have written.  Stephen King wrote about a book he read where the author kept using the word "Zestful" as many times as he could in his book.  King hated the book and he learned many lessons on how NOT to write from reading it...not to mention King said will never use the word zest in any book.

The only way that YOU are going to become a better writer is to write and read A LOT!!

Persona

It’s such a beautiful day out today! I couldn’t have imagined a more splendor day.

This warm breeze feels so good on me, much better than the air last night, which was cold and brisk. I was on the green side it seemed not that long ago but now I am quite colorful.

I just love my colors; something about them just brightens my day. I love that I’m red, orange, and brown. All these colors just make me so happy. I hate it when my colors go away from me. Then it’s just so cold that I don’t have any colors on me anymore.

A bird was singing today. She actually landed on me and gave such a beautiful song. I saw two squirrels chasing each other day. One actually hid behind me...but that didn’t work out too well, the other squirrel almost immediately found the other squirrel.

I feel like my spirit has been lifted because the sun is shinning brighter than ever on me.
